PROFILE
Marc’s passion is finding innovative ways to simplify strata and enhance the experience for those living and investing in strata communities.
After earning degrees in Economics and Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, Marc began his career in investment management in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Beijing.
In 2013, Marc moved to Australia and joined Smarter Communities, where he learned the fundamentals of strata management. He has held various roles, including Chief Finance & Strategy Officer, and has taken on the role of Managing Director in 2024. He has been relentless in seeking and investing in new ideas and technology to challenge and modernize the strata industry.
Marc is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors
(MAICD) and an Advanced Finance Program graduate from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania (2020-2023)

PROFILE
Marcel commenced his career as a Product Manager for Nestlé S.A. in Switzerland. In 1979 he took over the family business, a publishing house in Germany and Switzerland. Over the next twenty years he developed “ArsEdition” into one of the most innovative and dynamic publishing houses in the children’s and gift books area.
After the sale of ArsEdition, Marcel relocated back to Switzerland to found Bibliotheca RFID Library Systems AG with subsidiaries around the world pioneering in the development of a fully automated self-service and media security solution for libraries.
Marcel has founded and managed numerous successful business ventures internationally before entering the Strata Industry in Australia. As the owner and a Director of the Board, Marcel is committed to develop the Smarter Communities team and to continue enhancing the exceptional service to our clients, allowing Smarter Communities to cement its position as the leading Owners Corporation Management Company in Australia.

ACHIEVEMENTS
Patrick has held executive management roles in the Australian and New Zealand healthcare industry for over 25 years, recently completing a ten year period as Chief Executive Officer of EBOS Group Limited (and previously Symbion), a large diversified business listed on both the Australian and New Zealand stock exchanges.
PROFILE
Patrick has an excellent track record of improving businesses through the execution of carefully considered strategic plans and building positive business cultures that allow high performing teams to flourish. During his period as Chief Executive Officer of Symbion and EBOS Group Limited, the business achieved best in class growth over a sustained period and held clear leadership against its competitors.
With substantial experience in acquisitions and investments in both private and publicly listed ownership environments, knowledge of capital and debt markets in Australia and New Zealand, Patrick has a broad skill set that will benefit the Smarter Communities business
