Angela is an experienced People and Culture leader with more than 20 years’ strategic and operational experience in international organisations across a range of industries and geographies. She joined Smarter Communities in August 2022 to create and deliver its future people strategy and strengthen its employee and client experience.

Angela joins SC from a Head of People and Culture role for an actuarial and analytics consulting firm and previously a Head of HR role for an international reinsurer, engaging with executive management and boards.

An empathic and authentic leader, Angela has a track record of taking pragmatic, data driven and considered approaches to the full range of HR activities, including leadership, performance enhancement, talent management and sourcing, reward and recognition and policy development.

As an accredited Mental Health First Aider, Angela is focussed on wellbeing as a driver of results and approaches change and high-performance with individual and business growth in mind. She brings a focus on coaching, developing and empowering teams and her clients, driving transformational change and implementing clean organisational design.
